Inspiration to write a book

Illustration of Ivy and Zo the two brindle boxer dogs

Get ready for wagging tails and heartwarming moments! I'm so excited to share the story of Ivy and Zo, two adorable brindle boxer siblings who've captured our hearts and now, hopefully, yours too in their very own chapter book!

For those who haven't met them yet, Ivy is our sweet girl with a chocolate and tiger-striped coat and a truly gentle soul. Her brother Zo, born just moments before her, is a bundle of dark-furred cuteness with a wonderfully mischievous streak. They were living the sunny Florida life, complete with swaying palm trees and the salty air.

But as you'll read in Chapter 1, "The Arrival of Ivy and Zo," their lives took an exciting turn when they joined their humans and experience the magic of different tropical items for the very first time.

This book follows their initial adventures in their new home environment, hinting at the many more laughter-filled escapades that await them. From familiar backyard boundaries to the exciting exploration of nature's wonders, Ivy and Zo embrace every new experience with open paws and joyful hearts.

So, why did I decide to write about these two furry family members? Well, the truth is, Ivy and Zo bring so much joy and laughter into our lives. Their silly antics and unique personalities are a constant source of entertainment, and we've loved sharing snippets of their lives on social media. The encouragement we received from family, friends, and their followers to turn their adventures into stories was truly heartwarming, and it inspired me to finally put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard!).

As their "pawrent," I've had a front-row seat to their adorable bond and their hilarious explorations. This book is a way to share that joy with others and hopefully bring a smile to your face. It's a celebration of the simple pleasures of life, the unwavering bond between siblings, and the wonder of experiencing the world through the innocent eyes (and wagging tails!) of two very special dogs.

We hope you enjoy reading about Ivy and Zo's adventures as much as we enjoy living them! And who knows what exciting things the future holds for these two? Their story has only just begun!
